I want to use a raster image embedded into kml/kmz.
This looks like this:
...
<GroundOverlay xmlns="">
<name>Koros-rev-tura</name>
<Description>
</Description>
<drawOrder>60</drawOrder>
<color>ffffffff</color>
<Icon>
<href>files/Koros-rev-tura.jpg</href>
</Icon>
<LatLonBox>
<north>46.9932565277107</north>
<south>46.8890055179313</south>
<east>22.6291268874355</east>
<west>22.5330265543274</west>
<rotation>-0.806400780926478</rotation>
</LatLonBox>
</GroundOverlay>
...
https://developers.google.com/kml/documentation/kmlreference#latlonbox

Or:
<GroundOverlay xmlns="">
<name>Koros-rev-tura</name>
<Description>
</Description>
<drawOrder>60</drawOrder>
<color>ffffffff</color>
<Icon>
<href>files/Koros-rev-tura.jpg</href>
</Icon>
<gx:LatLonQuad>
<coordinates>22.5327076131377,46.8900423742687,0 22.6265638320836,46.8885570273548,0 22.6284432060945,46.9924310272809,0 22.5343830622475,46.9939543069307,0</coordinates>
</gx:LatLonQuad>
</GroundOverlay>
https://developers.google.com/kml/documentation/kmlreference#gxlatlonquad

Could you print the parameters of the transformation used?
(Rotation + bounding box lat/lon.)

Thanks,
Sandor

Hi Berczi,
You have to use buildin calibration, but if you already know the corners coordinates it will be pretty simple

Steps:

[list]
Select all corners of map (you will have 4 GCP points)
Click calibrate - you don't have to worry about rotation it will be handled automatically
[/list]

If you need, I need can post you short screen cast how to do this

You can use BBCode in your post
