Hello,
I am curious how to use map created with SharMap in my power point slides. Unfortunately it looks that Power Point does not support direct import from SVG format (?).

I know it is possible to use JPEG files but I want my map to be scalable and have transparent regions.

Any suggestions?

You are right. PowerPoint does not support SVG files out of box. Vector file formats supported PP are - EPS, EMF and WMF and PDF.

We are currently working on experimental PDF and EPS export module.

If you want to preserve transparency in rendered rasters you should export map in PNG format.

PowerPoint integration gives simple access to cheap assignment Enterprise Architect's model archive inside PowerPoint introductions. You can embed references to the model, use hyperlinked model component names, embed charts as pictures and arrange bundle substance on slides.

You can use BBCode in your post
