Hello,

Do you know if it's possible to create a polygon in some existing location in order to catch the shape of desired element then copy and paste this shape in another location?

Thanks in advance for a hint how to do so.
Regards

This is interesting feature, however it is not currently implemented - but we can consider adding support.
What is your use case for this?

Hi,
I'm working on my fictive city map but I'd like to pay attention to the scale of objects I incorporate in
(to be close to reality). Therefore I'd find useful if it could be possible to draw a polygon of some existing objects in other cities, copy the shape and paste it to my project area for further transforation to my need.
In such case I'd be sure to maintain comparable shape and size.

Another use cases coming to my mind which could save time:
- if we'd like to create several objects with complicated shape to be placed close to each other. Thanks to such feature we'll only need to draw 1 object, copy it and paste several copies around.
- if we'd need to draw a dual carriageway. Thanks to such feature we'll only need to draw one line, then copy and paste another one for opposite direction in parallel.

Kind regards
MindyGo
